R. Lee Peterson
R. Lee Peterson, 81, departed our world for greater life on January 30, 2023. He was born in Wilmington, DE, and worked for DuPont for 38 years at the Chambers Works, NJ, Deer Park, TX, Orange, TX, Niagara Falls, NY, and Beaumont, TX locations.
Lee’s life was spent serving his family, communities, and the Episcopal Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who enjoyed being with his family. His warm smile and rich sense of humor were unforgettable and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia, daughter Sandra (Rene), son Glen (Kortney), grandchildren Thomas Anderson (Christine), Stephanie Gabrisch, McKenna Peterson, Grant Peterson and great granddaughters Anabelle and Eleanor Anderson .
A private service and interment will be held at a later date.

Loving thoughts and prayers during this time. I am so sorry for your sadness and the loss you are all sharing right now. My greatest memory of Uncle Lee is his smile and his voice. He was always very patient, gentle natured, and loving with his nieces, and the three of us girls loved him very much. We love each of you. Peace be with you. Hugs
