  1. Our immediate family knew her as Aunt Pete. I can only guess that one of the younger of us had trouble pronouncing Aunt Petra and I imagine that mom explained that Petra was the female version of Pete. Hence, Aunt Pete. The name stuck and we all referred to her as Aunt Pete, ever since I can remember. She was loved so much by our entire family. She was loving, tender, giving and kind. Each one of her 6 children were the same. We will cherish our memories of her. love you Aunt Pete.
