Peter Arthur Westerfield, 79, passed away on Friday, July 30th, 2021 in Houston, Texas after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Peter was born on March 28^th, 1942 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to Harold and Lela (Paulson) Westerfield. Peter is survived by: his wife, Carolyn (Hafer) Westerfield; son, Aaron (Christina) Westerfield; daughter, Amy (Adam) Wilson; brother, James (Candice) Westerfield; grandchildren, Ethan Westerfield, Patrick Westerfield, Caitlin Wilson, Emma Wilson, Alexander Westerfield, and numerous family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Leota (Westerfield) Simonson.

When his nation called, Peter answered by joining the United States Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked 36 years as a Ground Service Agent for Northwest (now Delta) Airlines.  Peter had a passion for the outdoors and loved to travel and camp.  He was a man of faith and active in his church.  He took joy in volunteering with UM Army. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4^th, 2021 at 5:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598
