Peggy Joan Thomas, of Coldspring Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 at her grandson’s home in Seabrook at the age of 83. She was born on August 3, 1932 in Hughes Springs, Texas to Edward and Pauline Summerlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick, parents Pauline and Edward, sisters Linda Camp and June Weeks and grandson Andrew Friedriches. Peggy is survived by her daughters Teresa Peterson, Pamela Brannan and husband Dan, Mickey Friedriches and husband Harlan, sisters Kathy Lancaster and husband Danny, Dian Sumrall and husband Gene, grandchildren Rachel Legg and husband Jeremy, Leah Bell and husband Andrew, Crystal Westerman and husband Mike, Jared Brannan and wife Jallae, Joel Brannan and wife Hailey, Scott Friedriches, Amy Mason and husband John, Katy Garcia and husband Josh, Emily Friedriches, Brian Peterson and wife April, Regena Peterson, great-grandchildren Jordan Legg, Nathan Legg, Ethan Westerman, Caleb Westerman, Kaitlyn Friedriches, Reece Friedriches, Jayden Friedriches, Ondrehya Friedriches, Joanna Turner, Aalaylah Mason, Xavier Nuncio, Michael Puhr, Elijah Highberg, Emily Henkhaus, Eva Mae Peterson, Tristen Bassett, Kade Cotton and many other loving family and friends. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5-6:00pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 6 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573 with Pastor Rudy Guerrero presiding. Interment will follow on Friday at 10am at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to Texas Avenue Baptist Church
