Pauline Alaniz Cantu, 77, passed away on February 25, 2025.  She was born on January 19, 1948 in Edinburg, Texas to parents, Pablo Alaniz and Guadalupe Rios.

She worked for 20 years as a cashier at Luby’s Cafeteria.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Arnulfo Cantu.

She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her daughter, Laura Coronado; son-in-law, Rufino Coronado, Jr.; grandchildren, Rufino Coronado, III., Carlos Coronado, Noel Coronado and Joaquin Coronado and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Arlo Coronado; sisters, Raquel McGraw, Arcelia Gibbs, and San Juanita Cantu.

In her honor, there will be a visitation on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
