Paul Michael Stanley
Paul Michael Stanley, Passed away on January 17, 2021. He was born in Nora, Virginia on May 10,1926 to Kenova W. Stanley and Margaret L. Stanley. He got his 1st job at the age of 16 at a Cotton Mill. He was drafted in the Army at the age of 18, for WWII from 1941- 1944. He was stationed in Italy for 10 months. He went to Bible College in Tulsa, OK. for 3 years. He met Pauline Kidson in Kingsport,TN. at a Tent Meeting. They were married on November 7, 1951. They had 3 children. He learned several different languages, such as Italian, Spanish, Japanese, German and Russian. From the day he started working, he would send his mother money to help out in difficult times. After he married his wife, he worked for Boulevard Funeral Home, Access Limousine Company, Jack Rowe Funeral Home,Texas Trans Airlines, Manager of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Southwest Oilfield Products, and The Spires Condominiums. He retired at the age of 67. He always loved his family and his Savior with all his heart. He was one of the most honest, loyal, and honorable men that you could ever meet. He was very classy and always dressed sharp. Always fun loving, full of laughter with the Biggest smile. He received Christ as his Savior at the tender age of 16. He would walk for miles with his mother to church. His request and hope, he would say, was for all of his family to meet him in Heaven one day. In the last 4 years of his life, his daughters were his Primary Care Takers. Many times, they could hear him witnessing in his sleep to others. He had such a burden for lost souls. He is preceded in death by his mother: Margaret Stanley, father: Kenova Stanley, wife: Pauline Stanley, one sister: Lydia Yates, brothers: Ira Stanley, Edward Stanley, Clyde Stanley, Roosevelt Stanley, and Newbern Stanley. Daughter-in-law: Debra Stanley and grandson: Aaron Michael Stanley. He is survived by his son Michael Stanley, daughters: Sharon Nelson and husband Rick, daughter: Carol Domma and husband Mark. Grandsons Joshua Hiller, Zachary Hiller and wife Raquel, Jeremy Hiller, granddaughter: Kristen Repp and step-granddaughter Leah Nelson. Great-Grandchildren: Abigail Hiller, Malachi Hiller, and Hannah Hiller. Sisters: Virgina Delaney and husband Mac, Nina Delaney. Brothers: Cecil Stanley, Hugh Stanley and wife Mildred, and Banner Stanley. With many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be Greatly Missed by So Many.
The Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:00pm with a Ceremony at 3:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. Interment will follow on Monday at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
Due to COVID 19, Crowder Funeral Home in League City will require all visitors to wear a mask and maintain a social distance of six feet from attendees. Maximum occupancy is 75 guests. Please maintain a social distance during the visitation, processional, recessional and while seated. Your assistance during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. Mr. Stanley was such an honorable man. I know there is a big emptiness in the family with his passing. May our Heavenly Father wrap you in His Love and Peace at this time… until this precious family circle is complete in heaven one day. Sending much love to Sharon and Carol and the family.

My brother, I will always remember how you inspired me in the Lord and baptized me at the age of 30! I make my heart and soul ready to spend eternity with you and the rest of our family. Thank you for being a terrific big brother and caring about my salvation. I will miss you and hope to take on the burden for souls that you carried. As you have laid down to rest, may it be a peaceful one. I love you and your children. I will always pray for them.
Uncle Paul will be very missed! He was always so upbeat, happy and friendly to everyone. We will miss him very much. We know his very loving soul has joined God in heaven in peace and happiness! We have him in videos, pictures and memories to remember him by as well as his children, my cherished cousins! We cry today, we’ll laugh later thinking of the good times with him!
My husband, Guy and I express our most humble and heartfelt sympathy to Sharon, Carol and Michael and all of Paul’s living brothers and sisters! We loved Paul and thought him happy, witty and charming. He will be missed so much! We know Paul is now in a painless and happy reward that we are promised by his Lord and Savior!
