Nelda Lynn Rios, 47, a life long resident of Alvin, TX passed away on January 16, 2021 in Houston, TX. Nelda was born on June 2, 1973 in Houston, TX and was of the Catholic faith. Nelda graduated from Alvin High School in 1994. She loved spending time with her coloring Books, singing, dancing, bowling, watching Western movies and novella’s, big Selena fan. She also love shopping, doing her hair and nails, and was a collector of Crayons, coloring books, rings and bracelets.

Nelda was a loving and compassionate person who loved to dance and be silly “a what”. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Some of the simplest things such as her coloring time and a diet Dr.Pepper made her the happiest person on earth.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nelda is preceded in death by her father, Domingo Rios; sister, Caroline Vargas; nephew, Dominic Vargas.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Maria Rios; sister, Lenor Martinez; brother, Eddie Rey Esquivel; nieces and nephews: Sal Vargas, wife Diana, Katie Vargas, husband Davis Moody, Jenn Vargas, husband Dylan Dixon, Jeremy Vargas, wife Bianca, John Salinas, as well as many more nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews: Zackary, Izaiah, Lorenzo, Carl, Cameron, Ezekiel, Zarriah, London, along with many more great nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 followed by a service at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.
