Nathan Jeanne Sewell
Nathan Jeanne Sewell age 81, passed away on March 1, 2024 at home in Houston Texas. Nathan was born July 3, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Aaron and Emo Gene Sewell.
Nathan is survived by: his loving wife Carstella (Kandy) and his adored sons Damian and Zackery, their wives Jennifer and Alice and beloved Grandsons Ethan and Sebastian. Nathan also left behind his much-loved sister Carol Aycock and her husband Douglas Aycock. Many family members mourn his passing including Loretta Nelson (sister-in-law), nephews Garrick, Jerry, William. Nieces Jimelina, Mikala, Charlee, Veronica, Nicole, Victoria, Samantha, Madaline, other family members Patrick, Patti, Kyle, John as well as many unnamed family and friends.
When his nation called Nathan answered by joining the US Navy. He then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Texas Austin. Nathan then worked as Piping Designer/Checker in the oil and Gas industry.
Nathan had a passion for his Boys (Damian and Zachary), gardening (dirty always under his nails), sports (he loved the Astros) and fishing. He loved dancing and singing in the Church Choir. He loved his Church friends and in his final years his friends at the Gathering Place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Seabrook UMC, 3300 Lakeside Drive, Seabrook, Texas 77586.
You always saw Nathan in Hawaiian Shirts, so we are inviting those attending to wear their Hawaiian shirts.
If you wish to honor the memory of Nathan, plant a tree or rose bush in your yard. He loved trees and roses.
