Minnie McCamy, 89, a resident of Texas City passed from this life on February 6, 2024. She was born on January 16, 1935 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Guadalupe Leyva, and Carrie Aguilar.

In loving memory of Minnie who was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who touched the lives of many with her boundless love and infectious laughter. Her family was the center of her world, and her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking. Minnie brought joy wherever she went, her singing voice and radiant smile lighting up every room. Minnie’s unwavering faith in Christ was a guiding light for all who knew her, and her presence at every gathering made her the life of the party. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Rest in peace, dear Minnie, you will be dearly missed

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Michael McCamy; daughters, Joann Hyde (David), Jeanette Cotton (Rob) and; sons, Johnny Ramirez (Judy), Jesse Ramirez, Jerry Ramirez and David McCamy (Margarita) along with several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

In her honor, there will be a visitation on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm, also at Crowder Funeral Home.
