Milton Davis (Pete) Brown
Milton Davis (Pete) Brown born June 14, 1929 Marianna Arkansas; passed away June 5, 2014 Pasadena, Texas. Milton moved to Texas City, Texas from Arkansas in 1951. Shortly after arriving in Texas City he began working at the American (Amoco) Oil refinery. He retired from Amoco in 1986 completing over 34 years of service. Milton moved to Sante Fe (Arcadia) in the mid 1970’s and lived there on Shady Drive until his passing. He was known for his big garden and especially for his fine tomatoes. Milton Davis Brown is survived by 2 sons, Milton Dale Brown and his wife Tricia Brown of Kingwood and Daniel Gil Brown of Pasadena; his sister Thelma McElduff of Texas City; 2 granddaughters, Tiffany Schmidt of Sparta, Kentucky and Kari Brown of Deer Park; and 2 great grandchildren, Benjamin and Madeline Schmidt of Sparta, Kentucky. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 9:00 am to 10: am, with funeral services at 10:00 am, Crowder Funeral home Chapel, Dickinson, TX. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX.
