Penny, sending you my love. The world has lost some color with Mel’s passing. It is way too soon.
Penny,
very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, she contacted me in December and mentioned she was hoping to finish her final paper on CF. She was truly passionate and dedicated to the fight against CF.
Lanore, so sorry to hear of your sister’s death. I think of you often. Sorry we lost contact, but I lost all your info. I will be praying for you.
Melanie enlisted me to do some online tutoring in biochemistry and molecular biology when I was a graduate student in the mid-90s. Her passion to learn was awe-inspiring. When she published her study I was so incredibly proud of her. I didn’t know that Melanie had passed away, we lost touch over the years so I’m devastated by the news. My thoughts and best wishes to the family.
