Maxine Diane Brach
Maxine Diane Brach passed away December 23, 2018. She is preceded in death by her father Edward Adler, mother Sophie Adler, and sister Riki Adler. She is survived by her husband Theodore D. Brach, son Gary S. Brach and daughter Suzanne L. Brach. Maxine was born on June 12, 1939 in Springfield, Massachusetts the oldest of three sisters. At the age of 15 she moved to Miami, Florida and attended Miami Beach High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Miami where she met her husband to be for 59 years. She was a loving and devoted mother involved in the PTA, little league sports, and was a college advisor at Southwest High School in Miami, Florida. She was a master knitter and taught knitting to both adults and children. While living here in Webster, Texas she knitted for H2U, soldiers in Afghanistan, chemo patients, newborns and many more. She belonged to the City of Webster’s Citizens Police Academy, Webster Beautification Board, and various knitting groups. Maxine loved sports, travel, and people. Wherever she and her husband moved, she could always find friends. She was a sharing, unselfish person that will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 27 6-8 p.m. at the Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on December 28, 2018.
My thoughts and prayers are with you – Maxine was a one in a million type of person , definitely one of the most caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Anyone who met her came away richer in life.
I met Maxine at the Webster senior adult Friday night activities and truly enjoyed being with her.
