Maurice Wayne Neubauer, 82, a resident of League City, Texas, passed from this life on April 3, 2025 in his sleep.  He was born in Goose Creek, Teas, on January 29, 1943 to parents, Carl Douglas Neubauer and Iva Mae Barnes Neubauer.  He spent most of his life in Dickinson, Texas where he graduated in 1961.

Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 61 years (Doris Neubauer), Sister, Sandy Strickland, and great-granddaughter, Lakyn Nichols.  His legacy lives on through his beloved family – daughter, Dea Anne Neubauer; sons, Wayne Neubauer, Jr. and wife, Julie, Kent Neubauer and wife, Kristal, Jay Neubauer and wife, Lori, and Benjamin Neubauer and wife Nadya; sixteen grandchildren, Katlyn O’Day, Carlyn Nichols, Tyler Neubauer, Kylie Neubauer, Blake Lehmann, Chad Lehmann, Justin Neubauer, Branden Neubauer, Makayla Harris, Evan Neubauer, Kade Neubauer, Kole Neubauer, Kenzie Neubauer, Payton Neubauer, Dylan Neubauer, Otto Neubauer, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Wayne loved having his family close by.  He rarely missed an opportunity to see his children and grandchildren.  His love for his family will be felt for many years to come.

The family will hold a private burial at Town Bluff Cemetery.
