Mauna Nilsson, 78, a resident of Dickinson, passed from this life on January 20, 2024. She was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on November 30, 1945 to parents, Gordon Russell Davidson and Evelyn Marie (Dollarhide) Davidson.

Mauna was a hairdressser for 50 years. Together with a partner she owned Hair Studio One. She was very popular in the Clear Lake area with customers from NASA including some astronauts and oilwell fire fighter Red Adair.

She met the love of her life, Per Nilsson and they were married on March 27, 1999.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband, Per Nilsson; her children, Shane Jackson and Shawn Jackson and her step-children, Sarah Cylvick and John Nilsson.

A memorial service is planned at her home on February 3, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
