Mary Patricia “Patty” Halter, 73, passed from this life on February 7, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1951 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Curly LeFleur and Freddie Mannel.

Before retirement, Mary worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry.

She was a faithful member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Cecile and Rita and brother-in-law, Jimmy LaBuff.

Mary leaves behind to treasure her memory, her loving husband of 52 years, Scott Halter; daughter, Kelley Huff and husband, Lonnie; son, Kyle Halter and wife, Jessica; sister, Joella LaBuff; sisters-in-law, Susan Wilcox and Patsy Gay; brother, Jeffrey LeFleur; cousin, Pam Garcia; friend, Linda Butler and grandchildren, Austin Huff, Emilee Huff, Lauren Huff, Kyleigh Halter and Jayson Halter.

In her honor, there will be a visitation, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A rosary will follow at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 10:30am at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas. Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
