Mary Esther Catete, 46, resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away January 18, 2014. She was born July 31, 1967 in Palacios, Texas to parents Pete and Maria Rocha.

She was a longtime member of Shrine pass4sure 000-598 of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas. Mary worked as a Food Nutritionist for Clear Creek ISD.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Luis Catate; daughters, Lucy Martinez and husband Reid, and Kimberly Martinez and husband Trinidad; sons, Nestor Martinez and wife Valerie, and Jeremiah Rocha; sisters, Rosalie Vasquez, and Maria Bahena; brother, Pete Rocha Jr; and four grandchildren, Reid Wilder, pass4sure Alexia Moreno, Annalyse Martinez, and Trinity Valdez.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 with a Vigil and Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson with interment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
