Mary “Edie” Edna Beard
Mary “Edie” Edna Beard, 68, of Dayton, passed away Saturday December 31, 2016 in Dayton. Mary was born January 19, 1948, in Baytown, Texas, to Noble Lee and Minnie Laneigh Elliott. Mary loved her animals. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Sharon Greene and one brother: Sidney Elliott. Mary is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lonnie Beard of Dayton; two daughters: Ashley Freitag of Friendswood and Lonise Lawrence of Mont Belvieu; and four grandchildren.
To those remembering Edie,
I am so sorry for your loss.
May you find comfort in knowing that in reality God hates to see you suffer, and he intends to do away with pain, death and suffering as he once purposed for mankind.
Revelations 21:4 Speaks about a time that has yet to happen, this is what God intends to do. As you read that scripture ask yourself, is it referring to heaven? Has suffering, death or pain ever existed in heaven? No, nor can it, they are angels in spirit form. God is referring to Earth where flesh and blood suffers and experiences death. May you find comfort, hope, and endurance in knowing God has a plan to fulfill his original purpose for all of loyal mankind. (Psalms 37:11).
