Mary Dorothy Sima
Mary Dorothy Sima, 94, a resident of Pearland, TX formerly of Pasadena, TX passed away January 12, 2022 in Pearland, TX. Mary was born on February 18, 1927 in Erie, PA, where she lived for 56 years with her family. She was owner of Clydes Place in Pasadena and was on many bowling leagues and dart teams. She loved her cats and enjoyed bird watching and the beaches. Additionally, mom enjoyed knitting, crocheting, card games and bingo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Susie and John Yanov; twin sister Rose Yanov; brother Michael Yanov, and son-in-law Dan Barnett.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Sandra Lee Bush, husband Tom, and Mary Susan Barnett; sons: John Sima III, wife Mary Lou, Michael Sima, wife Melissa, and Paul Sima, wife Mary Ellen; grandchildren: Tiffany Bloomfield, husband Craig, Michael Bush, fiancee Melissa, Brett Bush, wife Chrissy, Joshua Jewell, wife Dina, Emily Sima, Renee Sima, Jon-Michael Sima, wife Lauren, Wesley Sima, Adam Sima, wife Nicole, Michael Sima and Katherine Sima; great grandchildren: Bryson, Alanna, and Vanessa Bloomfield; John Sima; Leo Obando; Wyatt and Audrey Sima; Brandon and Valerie Sima.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 with a service to be held at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.

Having lost both of our parents, Irene and I know the heartaches that you are presently experiencing. Please know that our thoughts & prayers our with you and your families. Although the hurt is hard, you are all very lucky to have had your Mom for such a long time and, per John, you all spent quality time with her almost to the very end.
