Mary Allen died unexpectedly in her home in League City, Texas on August 9, 2016 at the age of 64. Mary is the daughter of Frank and Mary Ann (Hoffman) Altmann. Mary is survived by her siblings and their families: James and Mary (Nawaczyk) Altmann – Matthew and Allison;  John and Rita (Moynihan) Altmann – Sarah, Katie, and Adam; Anne and Tom Bruchmiller – Laura and Dan Meyer, Benjamin, Michael, Jacob; David Altmann – Daniel;  Joseph and Wanda (Huggins) Altmann – Aaron and Rebecca – Zane; Theresa Altmann; Julia Altmann; Timothy Altmann. She is preceded in death by her first husband Mike Hall in 1979 and her beloved second husband Robert “Bob” L. Allen in 2007.

Mary was born on January 8, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor’s of Mathematics. Mary moved to League City, Texas in 1974 and married Mike Hall the same year. Mary was widowed in 1979. She married her beloved Robert “Bob” Allen on November 23, 1980. Bob passed away in 2007. Mary and Bob never had children; their true kids were their dogs, most recently Bandit, Henry, and Gus. Mary had a successful career as an IT professional in the aerospace industry for over 20 years and in the private sector for over 10 years.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 2o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home in League City.
