Mary Alice Kingsley Reynolds, 86, passed away in Mansfield, TX on October 12, 2023.  She was born in San Augustine County, TX to Willie Kingsley and Yvonne Whitton Kingsley.  Mary graduated from Pineland High School in 1955 and then went to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Galveston, TX and graduated in 1958.  She had a long career as a nurse for UTMB. She was a member of Eastern Star over 60 years.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas H. Reynolds, son Capt. Michael Howard, sister Thelma Means, and brother in law Joe Gilder.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Brashear; step-children William Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Kenneth Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds; Barbara DeSham, and Shannon Dornak; sister Charlene Gilder and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2023, at 1:00pm, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX, with James Crowder Funeral Home officiating.
