Marvin S. Rodriguez, 90, of Texas City passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Webster, Texas.  He was born April 9, 1926 in Lincoln, Texas to Paul and Julia Rodriguez.

He was a resident of Texas City since 1950. Marvin was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and he worked for 45 years with Texas City Terminal and Southern Pacific Railroad.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jacinta Rodriguez.

Marvin is survived by his daughter Teresa Ann Cathcart and husband Robert of Spring Branch and son Manuel Rodriguez of Santa Fe; grandchildren David Joseph Cathcart and wife Stephanie; Elizabeth Cathcart and Nathaniel Cathcart and great grandson Cyrus Cathcart.

A visitation will be on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.  Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque, Texas with Father Chacko Puthumayil officiating.  Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
