Martin Gerard Wygant,

Martin Gerard Wygant, 44, of Houston TX passed away on February 13, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1980 to James and Victoria Wygant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Martin
was in the US Coast Guard for over 20 Years and Retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Martin and his family have chosen to call Houston home since 2017. Martin was a member of the Chief Petty Officers Association and was also a member of the New Hope Church in Friendswood TX. After retirement Marty dedicated his time to serving
others in his community and in the Student Ministry at New Hope Church. If Marty wasn’t serving, he was being a dog dad to his best friend Kobe. Martin is preceded in death by his mother Victoria Lee Boggs Slaven, his Stepfather Lawrence Slaven and many other family and friends. Martin is survived by His wife Susan Wygant of 24 years. Sons; Brandon Wygant ,
Joshua Wygant and Tyler Wygant. Father James Wygant, Stepmom Kim Wygant Sister;
Sarah (Zach)Nolty, Brothers; Dustin (Jenny) Wygant, Jeff (Yonika) Bullock, Timmy (Kari) Bullock, and David Bullock. “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do” Kobe Bryant “The purpose of life is not to be happy. Visitation will be on Monday February 24, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.at Crowder
Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway Pearland, TX. 77581.

Service will be held on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Hope
Church, 108 West Edgewood drive in Friendswood, Tx. 77546. Followed by internment
at the Houston National Cemetery.
