Marlena (Marlene) Carol Proctor

Marlena (Marlene) Carol Proctor, 58, of Clear Lake Texas passed away July 19, 2023. She bravely battled a long illness. Marlene was born December 28,1964 in Burbank, California to parents Hugh and Emma Mobley. She grew up in Thousand Oaks, California and later her family moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where Marlene graduated from Fruita Memorial High School and then studied at Mesa State University. After moving to Houston, Texas she worked in retail meeting best friend Judee Phillips. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Martin A. Proctor, her parents, brothers Hugh Mobley Jr. (Irvine, Ca), Michael Mobley (Lake Forest, Ca) and numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends including Sharon Mehs, Lynn Pepka. Marlena was loving wife and she loved spending time with her husband cooking at home and traveling and dining and shopping with friends. Marlene loved animals, especially her pets.

A private service and memorial will be for family only.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Marlene’s memory may do so to the American Cancer Society or Second Chance Pets League City.
