Mark Alan Stanton, age 68, passed away on August 13th, 2024 in League City, Texas. He was born on August 17th, 1955 in Long Beach, California to Mary and Robert Stanton. Mark is survived by his wife Kathy Borrows Stanton, sons Christopher and Chad Stanton, step daughters Jennifer Schreiner and Julie Widen, brother and sister-in-law Jay Robert and Elizabeth Stanton, brother-in-law Paul J. Borrows, grandchildren, Parker Stanton, Connor Stanton, Brittany Widen, Ali Schreiner,  Alex Schreiner, and Elizabeth (Izzy) Thompson, and best friends David, and Caryn Hendrick, as well as numerous family members and friends.

When his nation called he answered by joining the United States Navy. Mark also worked as an aerospace engineer for Lockheed Martin Corporation for 37 years.  He had a passion for all things “Space”.  He also had a great passion for flying remote controlled airplanes

A memorial will be held on Saturday morning August 17th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home Clear Lake.
