Mario Albert Rodriguez, 66, died Monday, August 24, 2015, in Galveston. Mario was born November 6, 1948, in La Prayer, Texas, to Jose B. and Sara F. Rodriguez. Mario was a long time employee with Albertson Food Store and an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Alicia Gonzales, Sylvia Magdaleno; one brother: Arnold Rodriguez; one Brother-in-law: Lupe Salazar. Mario is survived by his wife Kathy Rodriguez; sons: Mario A. Rodriguez, Jr., Charles Rodriguez, Jason Reynelds Rodriguez; sisters: Nelia Salazar, Rosa Rodriguez, Betty Flores, Zinna Aghilere, Cynthia Martinez; brothers: Joe Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez, Artemio Rodriguez, and Armando Rodriguez; six grandchildren and his dog and friend Rocks. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2015, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home.
