Marilyn Virginia Cannezzaro

Marilyn Virginia Cannezzaro of Seabrook , Tx passed away on Monday July 8, 2024 at the age of 78.

Marilyn was born on February 10, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York to Edgar and Marion Roberts . They lived in Kew Gardens,Queens with her baby brother Ricky.  She got married to Richard Cannezzaro in January 1963 and had  two children Lisa and Lynda. They lived in Queens, New York until Richie retired in 2004 and they moved to Davie, Florida.  They joined Gloria Dei and Trinity Lutheran church and enjoyed wonderful friends in Christ.  Marilyn was a devoted servant to Christ.  In 2019 they moved  to Seabrook, TX, where she spent her last 6 years and participated in Bay Harbor Methodist Church.

Marilyn worked in the beauty Industry as a hairstylist and skin care technician with the Petruccelli Family, Pibbs Inc.  She was the showcase stylist at numerous international hair shows and travelled the US to present the latest in skin care.   Marilyn worked with the Petrucelli’s for more than 30 years.  Marilyn and her family became part of the Petrucelli  family.  Marilyn’s daughter Lisa, her grandchildren and even her mother worked with the Petrucelli’s.

Marilyn went on to buy her own hair salon, Marilyn’s of the Manor, in Douglaston, NY.   She also sold Avon for years and loved her Avon collectibles.

Marilyn actively served the church, helping fund raise with with yard sales, bbqs, bake sales, festivals, and socials.  She spread God’s word through music, singing in the choir, and even played an angel in the living nativity. Marilyn did it all. She loved to cook and won many award ribbons.  Marilyn was gifted in creativity. She knitted, crocheted, needlepointed, painted, and many other crafts.  She ministered to many people with prayer shawls.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her mother Marion, her father Edgar, brother Richard “Ricky” Roberts, husband Richard Cannezzaro and son in law Michael Sullivan .

Marilyn Cannezzaro is survived by her daughters Lisa Sullivan and Lynda Feldt, her son in law Jay Feldt, grandchildren: Ashley Sullivan, Amanda Sullivan, and Great Grandchild Kaitlyn.

Marilyn will be interred at Forest Park East Cemetery On Saturday July 20th at 10:00am.

Memorial service will be at Bay Harbor Methodist Church Family Center, 3459 FM 518 East League City, TX 77573.

Gathering at 11:30am

Memorial Service at 12:00pm

followed by brunch.
