Margaret “Peggy” Peterson
Margaret “Peggy” Peterson, 76, of League City, TX passed from this earth Friday February 7, 2025 in League City, Texas.
Peggy was born February 14, 1948, to Doris Isabel Brown and William Wallace Brown in London, Ontario Canada. Peggy grew up in Louisville and met her beloved husband Don in Bowling Green, Kentucky while attending Western Kentucky University. They have been married for 57 years.
Peggy loved her family and friends and had a sweetness and laugh that was like no other. She loved Kentucky dearly, but found a home with Don in League City, Texas after having lived in Houston, Kansas City and Orlando Florida. Peggy always loved the water, her boats and the life-long friendships she made through boating. Her friend-filled times on the lakes of Kentucky and throughout the Gulf were among the best of her life. She cared deeply for the Brotherhood of the Coast and all it’s members.
Peggy was a creative, fun-loving and caring person. She loved her husband, sons, grandsons and close friends and will be missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons Nicholas William Peterson of League City, Texas and Bradley Bennett Peterson of Houston, and her grandchildren Austin Evans Peterson, Andrew William Peterson and Jake Nicholas Peterson.
In honor of Peggy, there will be a service at 2pm on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at Crowder’s Funeral Home at 1645 East Main Street, League City, TX.
You were a great friend and I miss you so much. I can still hear your laugh, we had such good times at WKU, camping, and CSAC parties. This is not goodbye just see you later. We’ll have a great reunion in heaven some day! I know you are proud of your boys, they took such good care of you and Don. I love them like my own. Your grandsons have been a joy for you and Don also. They loved sharing their accomplishments with everyone. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
