Marcelino Herrera, Sr., 39 of Texas City passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 in Galveston, Texas.  He was born on August 19, 1982 in Victoria, Texas to Genaro and Estella Herrera.

He was a resident of Texas City for over 20 years.  Marcelino worked as a Self-Employed Carpenter. He loved spending time with his family and always put them first.

Marcelino is preceded in death by his father, Genero Herrera, Sr., and grandfather Marcelino Padierna.  He is survived by his mother, Estella Herrera and grandmother Linda Padierna, two children: Ariana Herrera and Marcelino Herrera, Jr., four sisters: Marina Herrera, Margaret Herrera, Melinda Pereyda (Cesar) and Anicia Herrera and two brothers: Genero Herrera, Jr., (Angela) and Michael Herrera and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am – 11:00am on Friday, November 26, 2021 with the service to start at 11:00am at the Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.  A graveside service will be at 12:00Noon at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas with Deacon John Carrillo officiating.
