Malachi Uriah Pompa-Martinez

Malachi Uriah Pompa-Martinez, of League City, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Rosenberg, Texas at the age of 15. He was born on September 5, 2008 in Webster, Texas to Kristen Pompa and Jeremiah Martinez.

Cai had a passion for physical activity. He was a rising star on the Clear Springs High School Wrestling Team. He loved his Muay-thai classes at Gracie Barre. He had a passion for sports cars and was looking forward to learning how to drive. He loved his family and friends and was proud of the fact that he was able to protect those that he loved.

He was preceded in death by his uncle Isaac Martinez.

Cai is survived by his mother Kristen Pompa and Steven Donalson, father Jeremiah and Gabriella Martinez, Grandma and Poppa Cheryl and Bobby Pompa, Grandma Rosa Anzaldua, aunts and uncles Joe and Brenda Pompa, Ben and Melissa Pompa, Rosemary Anzaldua, Hilary Martinez and Clemente Galvan, Joe and Toni Ann Anzaldua. His cousins- David, Robert, Marlissa, Sarah, Alexis, Kai, Julian, Joel, Junior, Aiden, and Clemenete and his “other” family Sara Niday, Kyla Shotwell, Axel, Abel, Abigail and Blaire Niday.

A Candlelight Vigil will be held at 7:45pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Clear Spring High School, 501 Palomino Ln, League City, TX 77573.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 6:00pm with a Funeral Mass at 7 o’clock at St Mary Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker, League City, Texas 77573 with Father John Rooney presiding.
