Lucian “Lucci” Reyes-McCallister
Lucian “Lucci” Reyes-McCallister, of League City, was called to Eternity on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the age of 22. Born July 15, 2002, Lucci was the beloved son of Marlon Reyes Granados and Grey McCallister de Reyes. Lucci was a talented tattoo artist and reptile enthusiast. He had a passion for cooking and possessed a mathematical mind, making him a whizz at everything from puzzles to auto mechanics. But above all, Lucci loved people – meeting newcomers, creating memories, and sharing laughter.
While Lucci’s journey on this earth was short, his presence was immense, marked by joy and a deep love of family and friends. Lucci’s unexpected passing has left a void in our hearts, and our lives will forever be changed. But we ask that you remember Lucci not in tragedy, but for the love he shared and the light he shined on everyone he knew.
Lucci is survived by his parents, Marlon Reyes Granados and Grey McCallister de Reyes, his sisters Tymme Reyes-McCallister and Sunniva Reyes-Yake, his brother, Jose “Cash” Gonzalez IV, his grandparents Joe and Sara McCallister, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Graciella Granados Montes and Alfonso Reyes Pineda, and his uncles José Luis Reyes Granados and Alfonso Reyes Granados.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 4:00-10:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. A ceremony will follow on Friday at 11:00am at Crowder Funeral Home with Father Dominic Pistone presiding.
Donations may be made in Lucci’s name to ARI, at www.arionline.org. ARI is a survivor-led national nonprofit which provides support services, tattoo removals, and cover-ups to survivors of sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, self-harm, and addiction.
While I personally never met Lucci my grandson Rony considers him a good friend and always bragged about some of the great cookouts Lucci provided and fun time they had watching the UFC events. I know it has left a high hole in Rony’s heart. I am so sorry for your families loss.
Marlon, my heart is with you and your family during this unimaginable loss. My deepest condolences for Lucci’s passing. Wishing you strength and comfort in this difficult time. Diana Treviño / Shell.
