Last rites were held on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017, for Mr. Louis E. Jenkins. He was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Friends Church in League City, Texas.

He was married to his sweetheart, Audrey L. Jenkins, for 67 years – and was a resident of League City, Texas, for 44 years.

He is predeceased by his parents; Clyde E. Jenkins of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Bessie E. Jenkins [Minor] of Vermont, Posey, Illinois. Brother, Clyde E. Jenkins Jr. of San Antonio, Texas and Marcheta Roundsville [Jenkins] of Dallas, Texas.

Survivors include a wife, Audrey L. Jenkins [Lewallen]; son, Colonel Patrick L. Jenkins of Bradenton, Florida, and Pamela J Rowe [Jenkins] of Bali, Indonesia; and two grandsons, Major [retired] Christopher P. Jenkins of College Station, Texas, and Andrew P. Jenkins of Alexandria, VA; great-grandsons, Noah P. Jenkins and Benjamin T. Jenkins of College Station, Texas.

Due to the present conditions in Houston, the Memorial Service has been delayed until November 2017
