Loretta Ann Walker
Loretta Ann Walker, 91, passed away on December 26, 2021 in League City, Texas. She was born on December 19, 1930 in Port Arthur, Texas to Frank and Marie Broussard. Loretta is survived by her sister, Shirley DeCuir, daughter Stephanie Kersten (husband Dan), sons, Ashley Walker (wife Stephanie) and Maury Walker (wife Dana); grandchildren: Melanie Wilhite, Greg Walker (wife Jessica), Cameron Walker, Drew Walker, Lauren Walker; great grandchildren: Miranda Wilhite, Grant, Lucy, Violet, Christopher Walker and numerous family members and friends.
She attended St James Higher Secondary School in Port Arthur, TX, graduating in 1948 . In addition to raising her children and taking care of her family, Loretta worked as a receptionist at H&R Block. She had a passion for family and friends and loved to garden and read.
Funeral Service will be private. Burial will take place at Forest Park East Cemetery. Loretta was such a lovely lady. We were so fortunate to have her as a member and good friend of our women’s social club for these past 30 years. We will truly miss her smile and her wonderful presence at our luncheons and other functions. Our sincerest condolences and prayers for your peace and comfort during this time.
