Linda Marie (Blake) Szopinski, of League City, Texas passed away Saturday, January 28^th at the age of 67. She was born October 4^th, 1949 in Rome, New York, daughter of the late John and Margarette Blake.

She was a graduate of Camden Central High School in Camden, New York.  She attended State University of New York – Delhi and received an Associates Degree in Business.  She was later employed by Agway Petroleum Corporation in Syracuse, New York.  After moving to Texas in 1980, she became a dedicated stay at home Mom to her three children.  She was a devout Catholic who loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Ronald Szopinski, two sons Ryan Szopinski and Brandon Szopinski, daughter and son in law Jenna (Szopinski) and Joseph Sandoz, and brother Patrick Blake. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Parker, River, and Blakeley, nephew J.P. and niece Laura and several cousins.

Visitation hours will be held from 6-8pm, February 1^st, 2017 and a prayer vigil at 7pm at the Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, TX.  Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 2^nd, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker Street, League City, TX.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to curePSP, www.psp.org.
