• Linda Grace Sommerfelt, 70, of Pearland, Texas passed away January 31, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Linda was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born May 7, 1953, in Pasadena, Texas to parents, George Harris Kingsbery and Kitty Montgomery.

Linda had many talents and interests including dancing, modeling, and even at one point preforming as a Derrick Doll with the Houston Oilers. Professionally, she had an illustrious sales career. She also loved fishing and writing poems. Linda was a wonderful cook and cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Meme.” Linda is preceded in death by her father, George Harris Kingsbery; sisters, Karen Kingsbery Carouthers, Carol Kingsbery Wolf; brothers, Mitchell Montgomery and Randy Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Sommerfelt of 33 years; children, Jason Kelly and wife Jennifer, Justin Wallace and wife Meriam, Jarrett Wallace, Lindsay Watts and husband Tyler, Bryce Sommerfelt and wife Melissa and Breanna Sommerfelt; parents, Don and Kitty Montgomery; sister, Donna Richardson and husband Dave; brother, Monty Montgomery and wife Sue; grandchildren, Jordan Kelly, Jace Kelly, Jett Kelly, Shelby Wallace, Luke Wallace, Mya Taylor, Chelsey Dodson, Katie Watts, Kaleighe Sommerfelt, Brycen Sommerfelt, Kolton Sommerfelt, Keely Sommerfelt, and Kolby Sommerfelt; great grandchildren, Audrey Dodson, Harleigh Dodson, Liam Dodson, Lakin Wiliams, Hudson Williams, Kenslee Wallace; along with many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life services will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bella Vita Club House located at 1548 North Riviera Circle Pearland, Texas 77581. Pastor Micker McCormick officiating along with guest speaker, Kerri Reeves. All who knew and loved Linda are invited to join in honoring her memory.
