Lewis J. McCoy Jr.
Lewis J. McCoy Jr. passed away on March 20, 2015 in Wake Forest, NC. He was born to Lewis and Dorothy McCoy on December 22, 1924 in Bartlesville, OK. He is survived by his: son, Frank McCoy; cousin, Alex McCoy; sister-in-law, Emily MacDonald; brother-in-laws, Fred H Oberndorfer and Raymond Watkins.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, TX, with Rev. Tony Venson officiating. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Lewis’s memory in lieu of flower may do so to Clear Lake United Methodist Church.
We were very fortunate to have Lew near us for the past few months. He was always saying how he would like to be closer so he could see us more often. Dad, you got your wish, as did we.
Sweet Uncle Lew, you were loved by all of us. You played an important role in my life and I am better for it.
We shared many wonderful family times at your beautiful home and they will always be part of us. How fortunate we have been to have such loving aunts and uncles! You are at last reunited with your beloved Adele.
