Lewis Crim Rockwell
Lewis Crim Rockwell, 83, longtime resident of Manvel, passed away May 14, 2020, in Clear Lake. Lewis was born March 26, 1937 to Martha Jane and Lewis Crim Bell in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was a millwright for Nabisco for 30 years and a loyal member of the First Presbyterian Church of Alvin. Lewis was a proud member of the Masonic Pasadena Lodge. He will be remembered as a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter Hannah Tijerina.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 63 years Edith Rockwell; daughter Deborah Heinsohn and husband Roland; sister Claudia Arnold; granddaughters Amie Tijerina, and Angela Bedingfield and husband Rob; great-grandchildren Brice Bedingfield, Reese Bedingfield, and Noah Tijerina; niece Windy Arnold; great-niece Paisley Arnold; and honorary brother Donald Bell.
In his honor a funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 16, 2020, Crowder funeral Home Dickinson Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Manvel Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Rob Bedingfield, Roland Heinsohn, Brice Bedingfield, Reese Bedingfield, Noah Tijerina, and Donald Bell.
