Lester Don King, Sr., 79, of Houston, TX passed away November 17, 2017 in Houston surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. King was born on December 5, 1937 to Lester and Bonnie King in Groveton, TX.  He has been a resident of Houston for the past 65 years and was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife Theda Ann King; sister Sue Landers and brother Terry King.  Lester is survived by two daughters Deborah Martin and husband Dwayne and Donna Waetzig and husband Herbert; two sons Lester Don King, Jr and wife Teresa and Danny Alfred King and wife Tammey;  eight grandchildren Carrie Gonzalez, Tallon Martin, Casey King, Crystal King,  Tori King, Blake King, Lacie Stifflemire and Rebecca Waetzig; seven great grandchildren Alijah Gonzales, Isaac Gonzales, Cadence Stifflemire, Bentlee Stifflemire, Kimber Stifflemire, Liam Martin and Nara Martin.

There will be a visitation Wednesday November 22, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 Broadway Pearland, TX 77581.
