Lennox and I became friends when we were back in high school back in Trinidad. I was older than he was, but in his infectious way he bonded with my younger siblings and we became family. We last spoke on July 28th as we have done all through the years, but there was never a clue that it would have been for the last time. He kept me updated on all that was pertinent to our close knit group that formed when we were students at Howard University, Wash. DC. Through the years after Ven, my brother, passed he would even call me on the anniversary of his death. That is who Lennox was, the best friend that one could have, caring, considerate, selfless and loving. We will miss you, but we know you are now in a better place. Rest in Peace.
So very sorry to hear about dear Lennox. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Much love and prayers to your family.
For Lennox, the only stranger is the person he has never met. Everyone was his friend.
Condolences to Rhona and the family, friends all those who were close to Lennox.

Me: I love you Dad.
Dad: I love you too.
Me: I know these things.
It took me more than 40 days after Lennox’s passing to write my condelences. I can now do it. I have know Lennox for 62 years, the years in San Fernando Gov’t School and St. Joseph Convent, San Fernando. He was my big brother. He was my grandson godfather. I still miss his touch on my shoulder when he came to church during the week and calling me ‘old lady’. I know he will protect Rhona and Andrea always. All I can say the Lord wanted him more than he was needed on earth. RIP.
Love Always
