Lawrence “Scott” Donnow
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lawrence “Scott” Donnow on November 3, 2024. Scott was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 29, 1971 to Joseph and Leah Donnow.
Although God decided to bring him home sooner than we had imagined, he lived a life filled with family and love. His loved ones will remember him as a selfless and kind man who loved his family and always put them above all things.
Scott was a big football fan and loved his LSU Tigers. He took great pride in watching his son playing football while growing up and his daughter dancing at half time. He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his grandson in a few months.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elise; his son Ryan; his daughter Shelby and her husband Landon Lopez; their daughter Aurbrey and soon to be born son Luke.
He is also survived by his father, Joe Donnow III, brother Joey Donnow and wife Amy, brother Cary Donnow, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother Leah Donnow.
Scott will be greatly missed. Those that he loved are grateful to have had him in their lives.
His service will be on Friday, November 8, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Nassau Bay, TX. The viewing will begin at 9:30 am and the Mass will begin at 10:30 am. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass at the church, 18223 Point Lookout Dr., Nassau Bay, TX 77058.
The burial will be on Monday, November 11 at 10:30 am at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Fwy, Dickinson, TX 77539.
My sincere condolences Elise, Shelby and Ryan. Scott was a wonderful gentleman. Always showed me kindness and caring words. May God surround you each with a band of angels during this difficult time. Prayers and love!!
