Lawrence S. Arolfo
Lawrence S. Arolfo, 66 passed away on March 23rd, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Friendswood, TX. He was born on April, 10, 1954 in Galveston, TX to Johnnie Lewis Arolfo Sr and Daisy B. Arolfo. Lawrence is survived by: his daughter, Lauren A. Perry and her husband Matthew M.Perry; son, Chris Arolfo, brother, Johnnie Lewis Arolfo Jr; grandchild, Charlotte R. Perry and numerous family members and friends. He and his high school sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Linda Davis, were proud graduates of Clear Creek High, class of ’73. He had a passion for construction, life, and people. He loved his family and friends dearly, and spent his time being Papa, Pops, Dad, and brother to the fullest. His favorite pastime was hunting, bragging on his kids, and sharing the stories of the trips and his many life “adventures” with anyone who would lend an ear. He was a modern day “Job”, who survived many trials and tribulations over the years and through it all came out smiling and with an amazing sense of humor and faith in God intact. His life story could easily be mistaken for a snippet from “Ripley’s Believe It or Not”. He was strong, caring, loving and tenacious. Even to the very end he was a fighter and strived to hold on as long as he could.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Second Baptist South Campus, 12008 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584.

Lawrence was a sweetheart. Such a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed, but I know he is having a wonderful reunion with his sweet Linda, his mom and dad, and all who preceded him. May sweet memories bring comfort and peace to all who loved him. ❤️
Lawrence was a good friend and extremely great family man. Always fun to hunt with. Prayers are with him and his family!
Yes, Lawrence was a fighter overcoming many of life’s obstacles. However, I remember speaking with him and he was kind, humorous and full of love. He was always wanting to help others whenever possible. He is at rest and peace now. May he bask in Gods light forever.
Sincerely,
Crystal Brady, first cousin🙏🏻

Lawrence, I will miss seeing and visiting with your kind self two doors down. You were so sweet to be both our daughters’ best Girl
Scout cookie customer all those years. I know there is a joyous reunion in heaven with your sweet wife and family members. Bless your loving soul!
So sorry to loose a good neighbor!
He will be missed.
Lawrence had a refreshing unique personality and was hard working, talented, kind hearted and fun loving. He was dedicated to Linda and took care of her in sickness and in health. He strongly loved his children, their spouses and his granddaughter Charlotte and was so very proud of each one of them, always sharing their latest accomplishments and highlights. We remained close like family over the decades and he will be dearly missed. One of the most recent memories we will cherish most is the incredible final hunting trip Lawrence had with my husband, Mike. Mike loves to tell how he could hear Lawrence laughing and laughing during that hunt, having the most joyous time. We wish there could have been more hunts together here, but it was your time to go home and be with your Linda and family once again. We love you! Janis, Mike, TIm and Heidi YFA xxx
We’ll miss you Pops. You always brought a smile to our faces. Thank you for always lending an ear.
Lawrence was such a kind soul. He was one of our youngest cousins out of 18. Guess you can call him the baby. He was always interesting and I enjoyed all our conversations. I only wish there were more times we were together as a family. You loved your family and they loved you. I know you are once again with the love of your life. May you rest in peace. Love your cousin – Velvet Marshall Dixon
Lawrence was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He would help anyone at any time. His skill and love for carpentry and building were evident to all. He amazingly never let adversity keep him from fighting to do all he could. We know Linda saved a place for you….go with love and peace. ~ Mike and Jody 💗
