Larry Wayne Strimple, 77, resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed from this life Wednesday, December 11, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born March 12, 1942 in Amarillo, Texas to proud parents, Forest and Evelyn Strimple.  Larry met and married the love of his life Diane Elizabeth Wilson and together they were blessed with four children. He retired from NASA after 44 years of service. Larry was a member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Diane Strimple; daughters, Renee’ Strimple, Kristi Strimple, and Julie Myers; son, Larry Strimple and wife Peggy; sister Lynda Simmons and husband George; grandchildren, Morgan Strimple, Austin Strimple, Evelyn Strimple, Stefanie Reynolds and husband Eric, Victoria Woolard and husband Joseph; great-children, Kasen Woolard, Kash Woolard, and Kolton Woolard; as well as numerous friends and colleagues.

In his honor, a Rosary will be held at 10:30 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Shrine of The True Cross Catholic Church, in Dickinson, Texas.
