Larry Richard Weaver, 73, of Santa Fe, passed away January 29, 2021 in Texas City.  Larry was born February 24, 1947, to Helen Marie and Lee Roy Weaver in Gloversville, New York.  Larry was raised in upstate New York and spent the first fifty years of his life there.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Viet Nam.  He served his community as a Boy Scout Leader for many years and taught gun safety as an NRA Instructor. An avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed camping, fishing and bow hunting.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sheila Cross Weaver, and son Brody Weaver.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 20 years Doris Weaver; son Kyle Weaver; step daughters, Kristine Babineaux and husband Kevin, Melanie Linton and girlfriend Christy Lewellen, and Amanda Hogan and husband Davin; step son Scott McGuffin and girlfriend Cc Williams; sister Roxanne Cook; brother Wayne Weaver and wife Diane; several grandchildren including Megan Horton and husband James; some great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

The family of Larry Weaver will be receiving friends 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson.
