Larry Bishop Cooper
Larry Bishop Cooper, 85, of Pearland, TX passed away on January 3, 2020, in Webster, TX. Larry was born on December 30, 1934, in Paris, TX to Clarence and Marie Cooper, Sr. Mr. Cooper served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1960 as a Airman 2nd Class. He enjoyed all sports, golf, fishing, bowling and dancing. Larry loved us all so well – – whether you were family or friend. He was devoted to his church and was so blessed by his family in Christ.
Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his parents Clarence Richard Cooper Sr. and Walter Stone and Marie Hunt Smyrl; daughter Jocelyn Delaney, grandson Seth Bishop Cooper, and brother C. R. Cooper.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Josie Janet Cooper; children Gregory Cooper and his wife Karen, Jaimie Cooper, Sharon Parrie, Pamela Ricklefsen and her husband Joe and Colin Crawford and his wife Tawnya; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 7, 2020, at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 East Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581 with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. McCauley Austin officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons Adam Parrie, Benjamin Cooper, Chase Delaney, Connor Ricklefsen, Zachary Cooper, and nephew Charles Sistrunk.
My dear Janet there are no words for your deep loss. I always loved talking to Larry outside the church. What a wonderful kind man. You had 44 amazing years together what a treasure!! You are a treasure to me!! You are in my prayers and please let me know what I can do for you ot your family.
