Kenneth Eugene McCausland Sr.
Kenneth Eugene McCausland Sr., 80, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 with all his family by his side in UTMB Hospital in Webster, Texas. He was born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1941. Parents were Louella E. and Earl R. McCausland.
Ken was a graduate of Apollo Area Joint High School, Class of 1959. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he resided for 38 years until he retired to Seabrook, Texas in 2002.
Ken enjoyed traveling, being Mr. Fix It (around the house), and gardening. He enjoyed sports, especially watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Houston Astros and the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball team. He also took great pride in his many fur babies, his last dog being Max, his Yorkie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce McCausland, his granddaughter Briana Danielle Hein, and a brother-in-law Arlie Thomas Williamson.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria Dawn (Williamson) McCausland of Seabrook, Texas, his daughters, Rhonda DiAnn McCausland, Rischelle Dawn McCausland, Roberta Danielle (McCausland) Cunningham and his son Kenneth Eugene McCausland Jr. Ken is also survived by his sisters Roberta McCausland, and Sharon (McCausland) Kasuba and her husband Robert Kasuba. Also, a brother-in-law Terry Williamson and his wife MaryAnn (Sapp) Williamson and a sister-in-law Claudia (Martin) Williamson. Ken has four surviving grandchildren, Khrisha Hein, Christian McCausland, Marissa (Hein) Hunter and Nicholas McCausland. Ken also had one great grandson Silas.
Our hearts and love will be with him forever.
At the family’s request, there will be no viewing. Crowder Funeral Home and Crematory in Webster, Texas is handling all arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to, any cancer charity, animal care organizations or Special Olympics.
