Kenneth Anthony Boudreaux
Kenneth Anthony Boudreaux, known as Ken, age 83, passed away on March 24, 2021. He was born March 1, 1938 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At age 7, he moved to Chalmette, Louisiana where he attended St. Maurice Parochial School and Holy Cross High School in New Orleans. In 1959, after attending Tulane University, he became an employee of the Bechtel Corporation as a Field Engineer in the Refinery and Chemical Division. His 30-year career took him and his family to assignments in Puerto Rico, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. He retired from Bechtel as a Manager of Construction, responsible for Refinery and Chemical Plant construction. In his retirement, Ken enjoyed traveling and wood-working. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Eugene Boudreaux and Maydel Durand Boudreaux. He will be missed deeply by his remaining family – his loving wife of 56 years, Joanna, his son Steven (Angela), his daughter Jennifer (Todd), his grand-daughters Hannah and Sydney Boudreaux, and by his sister Merilyn Welch and her family. At a later date, there will be an interment at Saint Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Joanna – So sorry to hear about your husband’s passing. I remember the two of you well from Durand Family Reunions (my father was Roland Bienvenu). Until reading the obituary, I had no idea y’all lived in the countries mentioned for Ken’s work. My deepest condolences to you and your family on losing Ken.
