  2. Judee, Mike, and Sammye- I am so very sorry for your loss. May God bless each of you, and help you through this most difficult time. If there is anything that I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to call.

Ken was a great man, and I was truly blessed to have him in my life for over twenty years. To me, he was somewhere between a best friend and a father figure. I am indebted to him for the many, many things he taught me over the years, and the opportunities that he gave me. The favorite years of my life were the years I spent flying with him…I have never met anyone else like him.

    Rest in peace, Ken.

  5. It is extremely hard to find the words to describe how it felt to hear that we lost Ken. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Judee, Mike and Sammeye. We all share in your grief and can’t imagine how it feels to try to deal with his sudden loss like this. Ken truly was a big brother to me. His friendship was priceless. Our family’s friendship goes back over 70 years and some of my family’s favorite times were sharing a week of deer camp every year going back to when his father and uncle started camp in 1943. A tradition that continues to this day. Ken had a true luster for life and he was a bright ray of sunshine to anyone who ever met him. That showed brilliantly in the ever present gleam in those blue eyes of his. His laugh was contagious and we shared many over the years. He was as genuine and sincere a person that you could ever hope to meet. He was truly a big brother to me, mentor, role model and anything else you can roll into a best friend. Family and traditions were most important to him. The love of his life, Judee was first and foremost in that. It was truly a special relationship that will last forever. He was always so proud of his son, Mike’s wrestling accomplishments. And of his grand-daughter,Sammeye, too. The hospitality offered to us by Ken and Judee whenever we would visit was immeasuarable. It was a great privilege and honor to know Ken and have a chance to share some of what I know were the best of times with him, his brother Danny (also passed last year) and their father, Ray, in camp. We may have lost someone who is irreplaceable here, but his memory will be cherished and live on in our hearts, forever. We were proud to call him our friend. Love you like a brother, Ken and rest in peace with your family members that you are now gathered with once again. Mike, Larry and Harry Loewengruber.

  7. It is with great sorrow that I write this today. We had many good times over the early years of our lives. The one I most remember is taking you to the hospital to have Mike. I know how much you loved him Judee, with a passion beyond most. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Even though the distance has been between us, I still have you in my heart, prayers and thoughts.
May God be with you through this difficult time and be with Mike and Sammeye also.

  11. Judee, Michael, Sammye. When I think of Ken, I smile. I have a ton of great memories of working with him and the other pilots and mechanics at Rockwell Flight Department. As the only female there, I can truly say I was always treated with kindness and respect. I loved all the stories Ken and the others would tell me about some of their trips. I got to fly deadhead with Ken and another pilot a few times, and I have never felt so safe in my life. I could also tease Ken he was older than me (only by 2 days though). When our department closed, Ken helped me move some of the office items to my house that I had obtained. I have always told people that this was the “bestest” job I ever had and Ken and the others made it that way. God bless you all and know my heart is with you.

  12. Judee, Mike, Sammye, God bless you and give you comfort during this most difficult time. There are no words to convey how much Ken meant to Linda and I. He was more than just my best friend and we will forever cherish the memories of the time we had with our Captain Ken. One of the greatest gifts Ken gave us was sharing you, his family, with us. We love you as we loved Ken.

Ken is healed now, with God and Missy in Heaven. I pray that time will heal us all.

  14. Dear Aunt Judee, Cousin Mike & Sammye
Words can not express the shock and pain I feel for you. Uncle Ken was not just my Uncle but also my Godfather and he was my friend! Even though we had not seen each other for quite some time he has always been in the forefront of my mind. He was my Idol and impetus for wanting to be a better man. I know I express our condolences for the whole Wolvin clan and pray for that peace that passes understanding for you all now and in your time of reflection.

  15. Our hearts are heavy and deeply saddened. He was always more than Uncle to his brother Dannys seven. He truly cared, loved, encouraged and helped us through our youth and well into adulthood. Uncle Ken was more to us than Uncle. We loved respected admired idolized….he was all that and more. He loved his family, He truly loved Aunt Judee his entire life, was proud to call Mike Son and a piece of him left with Missy, but he had Sammye to help remind him. Know that your all in our thoughts and prayers at this unbearable time, we pray you have peace in memories as we are holding tight to ours of him now too. Distance makes it difficult to be with you, your all in our hearts and thoughts. Bruce Brian (in spirit) Barry Wendy Jill Beth Amy

  16. I only knew Ken a few years, but he impressed me as being the type of individual that would go out of his way to help those that needed assistance. I always enjoyed our golf games together, with Don Fees and his son Mike. We became a foursome made each other laugh and rejoice in the day. My sincere condolences to all the Wolvin family and all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

  17. My deepest condolences to Judee, Mike and Sammye. Ken was a great man taken too soon. I first met Ken in the mid ’90s while working line service in McKinney TX and he was flying for Rockwell/Collins. Ken was great to be around, fast with a joke or a kind word. He was the funniest, friendliest guy I had ever met. Later, Ken would become instrumental in my pursuit of flying for a living, opening doors for me that led to opportunities I never would have had otherwise. Ken, I can’t thank you enough. Godspeed.

  18. Judee, Mike & Sammye,

Reading the messages that people have left is evidence of what a great person Ken was. He was truly loved by his family and friends. He was a person that everyone looked up to and respected. I am both honored and blessed to have Ken in my life.
I will never forget when he let me use the GTO for homecoming, I think he was as excited as I was. Although it’s been a while I will never forget the time that I spent with Ken and the family.
I ask that God blesses all of you and helps you through these difficult times.

    Dan & Sharon Smith
