Keely Warren Hartsfield, 54, passed away on March 10, 2014 in Houston, TX. She was born on May 14, 1959 in Goldsboro, NC to Henry and Frances Hartsfield. Keely is survived by her parents, sister Judy Hartsfield Gedies, nephews Robert Hartsfield Gedies and Michael Warren Gedies, as well as numerous family members and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandmothers and her beloved Shelties Abbey and Tasha. Keely graduated from Texas A&M in 1982 with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She worked as a contractor for NASA, beginning with Singer Link and continuing with United Space Alliance until its Shuttle contract closure. Most recently, she worked for Clear Creek Independent School District. Keely loved animals and was an avid bird watcher; she could identify most birds by sight and sound. She and her family loved each other dearly and we will miss her so much.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home – Webster. Interment will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Princeton, NC. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Keely’s memory may do so to Armand Bayou Nature Center or the animal shelter of your choice.
