Karen DeAnn Lindner

Karen DeAnn Lindner went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2024. She was 57 years old.

Karen was born in Houston, Texas on January 9th, 1967. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald Neil Jones and Marilyn Garrison Fontenot and her brother Steven Jones.  Karen is survived by husband, Randal Lindner, beloved dog Kimble, cousins and many friends who loved her.

Karen graduated from Clear Creek High School and graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake. She worked professionally in finance at Kelly Oil and Lockheed Martin where she met her husband, Randal. Karen became a homemaker in 2011 when chronic illnesses made it impossible to continue a professional career outside the home.

Karen was known by all as an exceptionally sweet and gentle soul who loved God deeply and cared very much for others. She took great joy praying for and giving generously to those in need.  She was characterized by her complete devotion to her relatives and dogs who preceded her and with whom she is now happily reunited with in Heaven.

Karen loved the Lord and faithfully prayed often for healing which she knew would be answered either in this life or after. The Lord answered her prayers on June 12, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Karen’s memory to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, ARP.

In her honor, there will be a visitation on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am.

  1. Karen was a lovely, loving person. I knew her as a teenager when I served as Youth Director of League City United Methodist Church. She and her brother, Steve, we active members of our group and participated in all of our activities. I was always happy to see her on various occasions as she went through life. I am glad that she is now at peace with her Lord. She will be missed.
