We celebrate the life of Mrs. Julie Sumra also known as Mrs. Villie of Derniere Rivière, Dennery but resided in Houston, Texas.  She was 89 years old.  Her survivors are 3 daughters:  Sylvia Alexander (better known as Clerona) and Family, Lucia Swanson and Family both residing in Houston; and Bertille James and Family residing in St John USVI and six sons:  Patrick Sumra and Family residing in Clearwater, Florida; Andrew Sumra (better known as Harry) and Family of Derniere Rivière, Dennery; Gregory Sumra (better known as Ocoy) and Family; James Sumra and Family; Valentine Sumra (better known as Valous) and Family all residing in Houston, Texas; and Edmund Sumra and Family of Brooklyn, New York.

She has 47 grandchildren – Marius Sumra, Shirley Alexander, Andy Alexander, Alva Sumra (better known as Jenna), Amina Sumra (better known as Gail), McKay Sumra, Lisa Remy (better known as Hermine), Howard Remy, Clarendia Remy, Curlin Swanson, Lazarus James (better known as Lazo), Shermiqua Sumra, Shaylan Sumra, Razel Sumra all residing in Houston, Texas.

Peckus Sumra (better known as Pecky) and Cleopatra Sumra residing in St. John USVI.

Daryl Smith (better known as Danny), Cindy Sumra-Charles (better known as Crissy), Elton Sumra, Kenis Sumra, Kelvin Degaillard, Mathaline Sumra, Cliff Avril, Fimber Sumra, Garvey Sumra, Shane Sumra, (better known as Nilbert) Nerisha, Ianna, and Luanna all residing in St Lucia.

She will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas on the February 21, 2015.
