Judy Lynn Flanagan
Judy Lynn Flanagan, born on November 18, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on March 23, 2015 at her home in League City, Texas. She is survived by best friend and husband of 25 years, Lamar Flanagan of League City, TX, parents, Jewel and Clyde Jones of League City, TX, sister, Diane Thoren of Dickinson, TX, children Stephanie Scruggs and partner Anne Miller of Dallas, TX, Stephen and Jennifer Scruggs of Omaha, NE, grandchildren Lance, Makenzie, Riley, Caden, Braylon, stepson Travis Flanagan of Houston and many aunts and cousins in Alabama and Texas
Judy retired from NASA-JSC in December 2011 after 29 years of civil service. She served in many positions in the Space Shuttle Program Office, the Financial Management Directorate and the International Space Station Program Office.
She lived a full and wonderful life, doing the things she liked best such as playing with her grand kids, world travel, SCUBA diving, sailing, quilting and scrap booking. She will be missed!
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 3 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 East Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas 77598.
